Environmental Responsibility
Caring for the environment is at the heart of what we do.
We continuously seek ways to reduce our carbon footprint. By optimising route planning, we cut vehicle emissions. We support ethical sourcing by using Fair Trade, Rainforest Alliance, and UTZ-certified products. Additionally, we provide energy-saving vending options and prioritise recycling, earning us a Gold Star in the National Recycling Stars programme.
Carbon Neutral Commitment
Businesses are a major contributor to global greenhouse gas emissions, accounting for over 85% in the UK. Recognising our role in this, Care Vending partnered with Carbon Neutral Britain in November 2020 to measure, offset, and reduce our emissions.
Our primary emissions come from our fleet operations. Using activity data, energy usage, and vehicle mileage, we ensure transparency in our calculations, adhering to the ISO 14064:1-2018 and GHG Protocol Emissions Standard principles. In December 2021, we achieved official certification as a Carbon Neutral Business, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability. As new technologies emerge, we will continue to enhance our environmental initiatives and provide our clients with even more sustainable vending solutions.

We provide a diverse range of healthy snack and drink options, carefully selected through our extensive supply network. Our Vitality Vending service offers bespoke solutions, featuring natural ingredients and low-calorie options—delivering great taste with fewer drawbacks.
Each location is unique, and we tailor vending machine contents to suit the preferences of consumers. Whether in schools, hospitals, or workplaces, we ensure that vending selections align with specific health and nutritional guidelines. If a product isn’t performing well, we adjust accordingly to maintain variety and customer satisfaction.
CQUIN Compliance
We supply vending solutions that meet CQUIN (Commissioning for Quality and Innovation) standards, ensuring that NHS staff and patients have access to healthier food and drink choices.
The NHS Staff Health and Well-being CQUIN (2017-19) is one of thirteen mandatory initiatives aimed at enhancing the hospital food environment, making healthier choices more accessible for healthcare workers.
